My Experience

Personally, I love adding a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds on top for extra flavor and texture. I’ve also experimented with different types of mushrooms, and I find that shiitake mushrooms add a rich umami flavor to the dish. The key to a successful stir fry chicken mushroom is to have all the ingredients prepped and ready to go before you start cooking, as the process happens quickly once you start stir-frying.
